Unlike anything else in the Fremont East Entertainment District, Corduroy combines nostalgic hints of the ’70s and ’80s with modern cocktails and beer selections. From a microwave oven wall to a sunken conversation pit reminiscent of a ’70s living room, Corduroy nods to the feel of the times, while keeping a few surprises in store for guests.
Featuring a strong selection of drafts as well as beers by the can and bottle, the staff at Corduroy will be equally comfortable with fine craft cocktails or vodka sodas by the dozen. Surprises tucked throughout the space will bring guests a new experience with every visit, from walls covered in namesake corduroy swatches or cassette tapes to a breathtakingly modern “Vogue room” light chamber, inspired by the 2016 Met Gala.
The team behind award-winning hot spots Gold Spike, The Perch, Itsy Bitsy: Ramen and Whisky, and Oak & Ivy have collaborated on Corduroy to create the first throwback bar in the area. It’ll feature the best drink concept for Fremont East’s ever-growing demographics, and a feel and presentation completely unique to this burgeoning district.
